The safety for our visitors and staff is very important. This concerns both fire prevention as well as personal safety. City Conference Centre has well established procedures in the event of fire, acute illness or theft.
Our safety work includes organizing training, establishing procedures and conducting maintenance of, for example fire alarms and escape routes. Our staff undergoes fire drill training involving both practice and theory. Training in CPR is organized for staff on different positions around the facility.
Our primary responsibility is to create a safe environment for both conference guests and staff by maintaining order and security in the facility. We want our premises to be as open as possible to enable access to our public areas. To ensure that unauthorized persons do not reside in the facility, we always have security guards when the venue is open for visitors. We are able to increase the security at times when our customers require.
There are many aspects of security, and to us it’s important that our work regarding security is in line with prevailing laws and requirements. We have chosen to use Safehotels for an independent verification of our safety, and have, as the first day conference venue, been certified via Safehotel in spring 2012.
