Project managers, Live Stockholm, created a building theme that echoed throughout the venue, from the décor through to dancing construction workers and performing “communication workers”.

“We loved this theme of building with solutions,” says project manager Gun Molin Jansson from Live Stockholm. “It gave us a really different backdrop. We wanted to create a setting that felt familiar but didn’t distract from the message being communicated on stage. But some of the guests were confused when they saw the scaffolding. They thought they’d come on the wrong day. The message was renewal - a new start for Microsoft. Microsoft is satisfied and so are we. The atmosphere was low-key, but the construction theme conveyed an element of high-tech.”
